Directions: Follow the main coastal road east from Pago Pago for approximately 30 minutes. Look for the Alega Preservation Institute signs at the village entrance.

Respect the Sanctuary
Alega Bay is a protected marine sanctuary. Please follow all conservation guidelines and do not disturb marine life or remove any natural materials.
Cultural Respect
Dress modestly and be respectful of Samoan customs. Ask permission before photographing people or cultural ceremonies.
Eco-Friendly Practices
Help us protect the environment by using reef-safe sunscreen, bringing reusable water bottles, and properly disposing of waste.

Getting Here

Alega Village is accessible by various transportation options. Choose the one that works best for your travel style.

By Air
Fly into Pago Pago International Airport (PPG). From there, it's a 30-minute drive to Alega Village.
By Car
Rent a car at the airport or take a taxi. Alega Village is accessible via the main island road system.
Local Transport
Local buses and taxis are available. Many visitors enjoy walking the scenic coastal paths to reach us.
